Charge: Aggravated Domestic Violence 720 ILCS 5/12-3.3

A.S. was charged with Aggravated Domestic Violence under 720 ILCS 5/12-3.3 with the allegations that A.S. strangled his wife after discovering her infidelity. Aggravated Domestic Violence is a class 2 felony with a mandatory 60 day jail sentence if convicted. Furthermore, A.S. would be a convicted felon and lose many rights as a result of a domestic violence conviction.
