Defendant successfully obtained a finding of not guilty for the possession of a firearm by a felon carrying a possible penalty of 4-15 years in prison. Defendant was at a party when police forced entry with a search warrant. The police alleged they saw D.D. carrying and attempting to hide a pistol in the kitchen.
